The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to your community.
SASSA is going to be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency reported it's alarmed regarding the superior number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This SRD is certainly as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position established for intervention encounters a large influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods SRD to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
